  • request an online quote or communicate with us about selling precious metals;

  • book an appointment at an AGT location in Austin;

  • book an appointment with an independent partner location through our booking platform; or

  • request and use a mail-in kit (label + package) to send items to us.

 

2) Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

A. Information you provide directly

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number.

  • Appointment details: preferred location, date/time, and communications with us.

  • Item details: item type/description (e.g., jewelry, coins), photos you upload, and other details you provide to receive an estimate.

  • Mail-in details: shipping/return address and other logistics information needed to send you a kit or process your package.

  • Identity verification information (where required): such as confirmation you provided a valid government ID and other details required for compliance and recordkeeping.

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions taken on the Site.

  • Approximate location: derived from IP address (not precise geolocation).

  • Cookies and similar technologies: to operate the Site, remember preferences, help prevent fraud, measure performance, and support advertising/retargeting as described below.

C. Information from third parties

  • Partner locations: If you book an appointment at a partner location, we may receive booking confirmations and status updates.

  • Shipping/fulfillment partners and carriers: shipment status, delivery confirmations, and claims-related information (if applicable).

  • Advertising/analytics platforms: we may receive aggregated reporting and measurement data from Google and Meta about ad performance and site conversions.

 

3) How we use your information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and operate the Services

    • schedule and manage appointments (including through Wix Bookings);

    • provide quotes/estimates and service communications;

    • deliver mail-in kits and process inbound packages;

    • test/evaluate items and communicate offers.

  • Verification, safety, and compliance

    • verify identity and eligibility to transact;

    • detect and prevent fraud or suspicious activity;

    • comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements.

  • Customer support and communications

    • respond to questions and requests;

    • send transactional communications (appointment confirmations, status updates, offer communications).

  • Improve the Site and Services

    • analyze Site performance and user experience;

    • maintain security and troubleshoot issues.

  • Advertising and marketing (where permitted)

    • measure advertising performance (e.g., whether an ad led to a booking request);

    • show ads that may be more relevant to you (including retargeting).

 

4) How we disclose (share) information

We may disclose information in the following situations:

A. Partner location bookings (Service 2)

If you book an appointment at a partner location, we share your booking details with the partner so they can host your appointment (e.g., name, contact info, appointment time, and general item description if provided). The partner is an independent business and their privacy practices apply to their purchase transaction.

B. Website platform and booking provider (Wix)

Our Site is hosted on Wix, and our scheduling is handled through Wix Bookings. Wix may process certain information as part of providing website hosting, forms, analytics, security, and booking functionality (for example: contact/booking form submissions, booking confirmations, and certain device/usage data).

C. Service providers

We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services, such as:

  • communications tools (email/SMS/phone providers);

  • logistics and shipping/fulfillment partners;

  • insurance administrators related to shipping (if applicable); and

  • payment-related vendors where applicable (depending on payment method).

These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.

D. Analytics and advertising partners (Google and Meta)

We use:

  • Google Analytics (site usage measurement),

  • Google Ads (advertising and conversion measurement), and

  • Meta tools (such as the Meta Pixel and/or Conversions API) (advertising and conversion measurement).

These tools may collect or receive information from your device and browser (such as cookie identifiers, device identifiers, IP address, and event/activity data like page views or booking actions) to help us:

  • understand how people use our Site,

  • measure ad performance, and

  • deliver or optimize advertising.

We do not sell your personal information; however, these partners may use cookies and similar technologies for their own purposes consistent with their policies.

9) Children’s privacy
