How quickly do I receive payment?
Once you approve the offer, we initiate the payment same day. We pay via same-day bank transfer (ACH), check, or wire. Same-day ACH typically arrives the same day if initiated before 2 PM CT; wires before 4 PM CT. We'll confirm your preferred payment method before you accept anything.
Do you offer a 3-Day Money Back Guarantee?
Yes — we give you time to feel confident in your decision. After your transaction, we securely store your purchased gold for 3 days. If you change your mind within that period, email customers@americangoldtour.com, return the funds, and we'll release the items back to you. The money back guarantee excludes bullion, coins and bars. We believe selling your gold should feel safe, not rushed.
Will testing damage or scratch my jewelry?
No — your jewelry will not be damaged. We use modern non-invasive XRF testing, which analyzes the exact metal content without scratching, cutting, or using harsh chemicals. Unlike traditional acid testing, XRF leaves no marks, gives highly accurate results, and analyzes the full metal composition. Your items remain in the same condition as when you brought them in.
